On the 27th of January took place the final event of the ERASMUS+ Program "EQUALVET" in Greece under the coordination of VTC MARGARITA. The event was a great success with more than 40 participants present, representing VET organizations and Public Authorities in Attica.
The event’s focus was on the presentation of the EQUALvet project, successful practices, and European initiatives for Inclusive Vocational Education & Certification in Greece. For covering these topics, the event was divided into three sections.
In Section 1, we presented EQUALvet. Speakers from VTC MARGARITA and TUV Hellas introduced the project and presented the training methodologies and impact of the pilots and the certification procedures.
Section 2, focused on Vocational Training and the Path to the Open Labor Market with speakers from the National Employment Service (DYPA), the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP), and MARGARITA.
The third section had several speakers from VET organizations in Greece who presented Good practices in Vocational Training of People with Disabilities. The speakers were from VTC MARGARITA, THEOTOKOS, PLOES EPSYME, Panhellenic Union for Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Work Integration (PEPSAEE), and ERGASTIRI.
